My water sat empty as the waiter walked by me 2 or 3 times. I finally had to ask for a refill.

They provide a topping bar with only 4 toppings and a fry station for those who choose to add that option.

For an appetizer, I tried the fried zucchini, which was breaded in panko bread crumbs, it was very tender and tasty. The cheeseburger I had was perfectly cooked and very juicy, one of the best I've ever had! To top off the meal, they bring out complimentary dishes of fresh fruit, which finished the meal nicely. I will stop at this place every time I visit L.A.!

VaBene	Italian	Fine Dining	2	I live close to this place and every night it has a good amount of people hanging out on the patio where they have a fire pit and a wine bar. We happened to go on a very slow night for a nice italian restaurant/bar, because it was the same night the NFL conference championships were playing. We tried the bacon wrapped shrimp (4 pieces of small shrimp) as an appetizer, and I was very disappointed by the overcooked, tasteless pieces of shrimp. I chose the "special" for the night, which was not very special. It was described by the waitress as a "Prime Porterhouse" steak, with brussell sprouts cooked with bacon and pecans as a side. The steak was definitely not as tender as prime beef should be, and it was a T-bone at best, NOT a porterhouse size portion as described. This mediocre dish was $38, which is more expensive than anything on the regular menu. Being that it was a "special", I did not think to ask the price before ordering. The only good thing about this place was the stiff drinks that our waitress poured. Other than that, I probably wont have any reason to go back anytime soon.
